What a beautiful area we live in!

My three sisters came to my house for Thanksgiving. They live in Santa Cruz, San Francisco, and Seattle - well known awesome places. We took a walk after dinner and I took them through my neighborhood, across Garden Highway and we walked along the trail next to Steelhead Creek that leads to Discovery Park. My sisters were amazed at the beauty of the area. They loved the trees and seeing so many Magpies and flocks of geese. I was hoping some turkeys would show up but no such luck. It made me remember to enjoy the beauty of our area. Sometimes we need out of towners to make up appreciate what we have.
