December is upon us!

As we get to the end of 2022, there are still plenty of activities that GNNA is pursuing. On Friday Dec. 2 at 6:00 will be the annual Holiday Tree Lighting at the South Natomas Community Center on Truxel. Join with residents from all over Natomas to enjoy music, eat cookies, visit with Santa, and see the tree lights go on.

On Thursday Dec. 8 at 5:00 there will be a tree lighting at Stanford Settlement, 450 West El Camino Ave. This will be (hopefully) the first annual Stanford Settlement tree lighting. Meet Santa, enjoy homemade cookies and cocoa and chat with the neighbors.

Operation Cratchit is an annual program put on my Stanford Settlement. It is anticipated that over 600 families will be given groceries, gift certificates, toys, and wrapping paper. GNNA will help with organizing the donated canned goods and handing out holiday gifts for the families. To register, call Stanford Settlment at 916-927-1303.
