Walking through the neighborhood

GNNA members have been walking through the Gardenland and Northgate neighborhoods distributing information on COVID-19 vaccinations. Along with giving out information we have been finding hidden places in the area that make Gardenland and Northgate a unique place to live. Check out all the chickens on the corner of Columbus and Northgate. Harding Ave. has the greatest variety of homes in the area - a solar powered home, tiny homes, classic CA homes from the 1930s, and more. River Gardens Mutual Housing on Northview is a beautifully maintained affordable housing unit with well cared for gardens. Behind Ninos Park are two community gardens - the Garden of International Colors and the Ninos Garden. It is great to discover that there are so many discoverable areas within walking distance and a great excuse to get in more exercise.
