Proposed Homeless Cabins for Women and Chilcren

An intriguing proposal to help homeless women and children has been brought up by Councilmember Jeff Harris. A community center with small cabins to be build on City-owned property on Northgate Blvd. in front of Garden Valley School. Gardenland and Northgate are neighborhoods filled with empathetic residents. Many are voicing support for this concept. The Sacramento Bee has an article with more information.
