This has been the motto of GNNA for quite a few years. However, does it really encompass all that GNNA does? We are a group of neighbors who care about our community and want to make it better. Some of us volunteer with youth sports, others want for scholarship opportunties. We also work as an information source on big and small events such as the upcoming levee repairs, how to contact code enforcement, and inviting everyone to enjoy movie on the green at Gardenland Park. Some suggestions for a new motto are:
Neighbors taking care of the community
People helping our neighborhood
Volunteers advocating for our neighborhood
We will discuss a new motto at the March 21, 2019 GNNA meeting. I hope to see you there.
